About The BC ProjectThe BC Project is an all-party organisation which seeks to ultimately elevate the presence of the UK Chinese community in the British political arena. Our project is about achieving a fair, just and inclusive democracy for the Chinese people in Britain - one that offers rights to all, and demands responsibility from all - the Chinese communities and the Government and Parliament. With a passionate team of core members driving the project objectives we will utilise our established networks within both Chinese and British communities as well a strong technology focus to create awareness, provide resources, knowledge and support as well as a much needed platform for commentary. We also aim to foster reciprocal relationships between ourselves, those keen to get involved in politics and those already established in the political arena – constantly developing through contribution and collaboration eventually strengthening our political stance and unity as a community. Our vision is all inclusive and non-discriminatory. Everyone is invited to get involved, ranging from migrant Chinese who are unsure of their political rights all the way through to prospective MP’s requiring support and a platform for promotion. The BC Project is gaining momentum. Please be patient and our website will be live in early 2008. In the meantime, if you're interested in getting involved, please let us know via this form. |
